About the Event
Course Breakdown: The class will be conducted at American Legion POST 77, 102 Glenwood Ave, Easton, MD 21601.
Following the classroom session, we will travel to the range.
Range Location: Schraders Outdoors Range, 16090 Oakland Road, Henderson, MD 21640
Maryland Wear and Carry Permit: This course consists of 16 hours as required by the Maryland State Police, covering Pistol Knowledge, Safe Gun Handling, State Firearm Law, Legal and Civil Aspects of Concealed Carry, the Maryland Wear and Carry Application Process, Home Firearm Safety, Handgun Mechanisms and Operation, and a Qualification Test to demonstrate Gun Safety and Proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy (100 rounds).
Course Objectives: This course will address defensive pistol use, legal regulations, and weapons storage.
