You will receive your Maryland HQL certification at the end of this class. This course is 6 hours long and includes both classroom and range time. The range fee and ammo is included. $50.00 Application fee to the Maryland State Police.

About the Event
You need to bring your own lunch, eye and hearing protection (we will have those items for sell).
Course Description: In order to purchase, or receive a handgun in Maryland. You must first obtain a valid Handgun Qualification License (HQL).
Learning Objectives: The classroom will be held in Easton, MD. We will commute from the classroom down to the range in Henderson, Maryland for live fire (approx 30min commute).
Course Objectives: This course will cover pistol knowledge and fundamentals, gun safe handling, ammunition, pistol storage, and cleaning.
Details: This permit currently DOES NOT allow the permit holder to carry their firearm in Maryland, but it would allow them to carry in most of Maryland’s surrounding 35 states (60%).
Course Completion: You will received your Certificate for your Maryland Handgun Qualification Licenses.
